This all-electric motorcycle can hit 60 mph in just 2.1 seconds

Electric cars are only just starting to become a regular
sighting on city streets, but one historic motorcycle company is
already dreaming of what the electric revolution might mean for
two-wheeled transportation.

Curtiss Motorcycles
has created
a bike that is both an homage to the company’s
heritage as well as a glimpse into its future. It’s called the
Hera, and it’s absolutely bonkers. It’s inspired by a V8-equipped
gas-burning monster that company founder Glenn Curtiss built way
back in the early 1900s. This time, however, gas cylinders are
replaced with battery power, and the bike is an absolute speed
demon.
