Very happy so far. Has everything I need it more. Calendar reminder alerts very useful. The Samsung PC Studio software (downloaded from Samsung website) is very useful to connect the phone to your PC, you can phone in to give dates, write articles, etc., without the phone keys to use and secure PC. Radio headphones used as an antenna and has a very good sound quality.
Angry that the Internet center key in standby mode for no apparent way to connect pressed to change this setting. Very basic manual (download from Samsung website), only say what I of the phone is able, without examples of how you do it and leave a lot to the imagination for the novice. This is also the case with PC Studio. I needed to download settings from the Samsung site, enable Internet, email and MMS to work, although very simple, there was no mention in this documentation. Camera basic but usable, but very poor video quality.
However, once dominated a very good solid useful telephone numbers.

It is hard, the water resistance (although I have not tested) that I feel I need as outdoory kinda person.
I have just had the phone a few days and am still finding my way in the menus, is the most easy to follow, but txt sending to multiple people seems a bit hit and miss.
Torch fab, best, camera not too bad, but we honestly that is a phone for people that their gadgets how simple and rough-ty-ty tough.
The only trouble is that the center select button immediately connects you with the WAP application and there is no way (I have three friends who also have this phone), the we have found to change this option.

If you are the type of person who takes your phone, drop it stays in the garden in the rain, it hiking, skiing or humid place, and are the kind of person who usually abuses technology then GO FOR IT.
Get a micro SD card, however, or you will fill the memory to quite quickly through bluetoothing about these ringtones fave! Not much choice was with my phone.

Enjoy.

So I went for a hard-type phone. I've never had problems with Samsung, so that was my choice.

It's like the Jason Bourne of phones. You can leave it on a wall in the rain, 30 meters high and do not worry if it gets cut off. Easy to call someone, and the mud starts to ring. Dig out your phone, and it is perfect. Wash it off and it stops. After about nine months, I get the odd scratch on the screen, but it is stamped with sand, rocks, you name it. The casing is scratch resistant, the keys are good, even the camera lens is exposed not marked at all, and I've never covered with anything. this is sorted the externals. Durability 10 / 10.

Disadvantages? The PC interface software is a little sketchy, it loses USB connection when uploading or downloading my shots. Not all the time, but enough to be a little irritating, and not as good as an interface from Sony PC Suite. PC Connectivity 10:07

The only other downside? Hearing my phone ring when machines or things going on, it can be difficult. And so to be sure, sometimes it's him vibrate to Sound Off / On. If it is not actually in my pants, I can not for all time. I said, it is because of the case, then the shell so marked will not transmit the vibrations very well. Sun ring volume / vibrate 10.05.

Internals? The interface is just dead, like the anti-Motorola of phones. Pick up and play. The screen is not beautiful, it seems a bit basic, but the colors are bright, photos look brilliant, and it is all I need to have, including Internet access, have used almost every other phone I do. Get a memory card (SD, fits behind the battery) and you are sorted. The sound is great, never tell anyone at the other end: "Can not hear it must be your end ..." The torch will now seems blindingly is very important, and of course lasts as long as the battery is charged, for days and days ( The battery life is brilliant), and I even with a compass, especially when I am in a city I had not been very useful in new Prague city or Barca. So, Features 10/10. Treat

Basically, if your phone is not like a precious jewel, but still want all the features you need this page an i-phone, which is the phone to get. As I said at the top ... Bullet Proof! It may not look pretty, but not a Land Rover Defender.

Interestingly, my work is a mobile phone BlackBerry Bold ... while the Samsung's design more functional Nokia 1990 is by comparison, I was strangely attached to the small quad-band Pocket Rocket ... and indeed prefer something else.

First, this is a serious hard phone. Most of the facade is made of urethane and has a very pleasant feel. The handset does not require costly handling and yes, I think, even the occasional user would be challenged, make no marks on the phone in normal use (of course, when his military IP54 certification, that the challenges to you ... ). It is also relatively compact and WAY smaller than the current offer of Sonim and Durrocom.

Full credit for the construction. I have liked the hotel floors, they fall in the mud, making calls (and heard on his radio) in the pouring rain. No problems.

The handset is also a bit of a breeze. Most of its pleasing sound quality is sublime. Both the ear speaker and external speaker provides crystal clear sound (well done Samsung!). Chunky buttons on the side of the device allow for easy volume control switch also during a call, and a third unit activates the Xeon lamp flashlight - this is incredibly bright - now his uncanny how often their in handy come.

Phone and SMS aside, the remaining technical features are surprisingly ok. It is send MMS / receive e-mail my personal ok, takes microSD cards up to 8 GB and is a great little radio / music player.

The battery is worth a special mention - a full 10 days free of charge during normal use with me (5-6 calls / 2-3 SMS per day).

disadvantages? Well, I am really picky, but would like a higher res screen with more resistance to direct sunlight (although the latter is to have overcome by the creation of a mono custom color scheme). The camera is VGA, although this does not really bother me and the picture quality is surprisingly good.

In summary, I think Samsung did a great job ... It is a way better than the phone Sonim XP3 is (or other hard phones from the moment). It is cheaper than new and higher spec'd Samsung B2700 (which I actually like the purchase B2100 has pretty much taken all I need).

This little guy is sitting on the outside of the backpack during a cycle commute every day and has not complained. It will not score high on the mobile phone snob-review sites, and quite honestly ...

I Do not Care (I keep mine!)
