It's so individual, you can really sell the phone. Surfing the Internet is amazing, so much better than the iPhone, the screen is so responded to react a little bit sometimes but you get used to the habit very quickly. Tryping with the keyboard is a real treat. The music player is one area where I prefer the iPhone, with both players get the feeling that the iPhone is it more refined. Do not get me wrong the music player on the HTC desire is good, it's missing is the little things, who knows, uses both systems would know what it is I to about. They love the fact shortcuts to playlists can be moved one of the home screens for direct access. The headphones are the biggest disappointment with the phone, just to bulky, uncomfortable headphones, the controls at the wrong place. Change songs with the controls is impossible if you're like me you keep your headphones (the wire) under your coat. Much prefer the headphones provided for the iPhone to play music again at the next small things like the location of the controls makes the iPhone only that a better music player. Just goes to show how good this phone, if my only complaint is the headphones.
It is hard to get used to life without iTunes, but I found a very good software called double twist like iTunes but it works for the Most players phones/mp3 is also the desire to check it out it's worth a look. This is the only thing that deterred me Getting Any phone over the iPhone was itunes, I know a lot of people who feel the same way, but double twist works great. The App Store is also wrong, but you have Android Market. The only problem I found with the Android Market is that some of the applications are not available for this phone for some reason, something to do with Google is available, but I have heard that it is sorted. Battery life seems to be a problem by most reviewers, but I have had no problem lasted a whole day under their heavy usage all day surfing, WiFi, music, GPS and other things. To be honest, you get a current value from the use of the battery. I have always taken my phone for a fee at the end of the day and I bet that most people do, so not a problem with me. I would totally recommend this phone over the iPhone, the only reason I see someone on the iPhone this is because of iTunes, but doubleTwist species from this issue. I see no other rational reason to get you through iPhone, this phone is cheaper, looks better (I) think is better usability, better specs and much more, not only about the power of the Apple brand (and the iPhone headphones have the better) After the problem with Google is this phone is sorted perfectly.
Ps I write all this way with the request, very nice.

3dmobiphon Review of Nguyen for the <a href = "http://www.amazon.co.uk/HTC-Desire-SIM-Free-Android-Smartphone/dp/B0035ER8OY%3FSubscriptionId%3D0EVWQMJNKGE21P68EJG2%26tag%3Dmobiphon-21%26linkCode%3Dxm2%26camp%3D2025%26creative%3D165953%26creativeASIN%3DB0035ER8OY"rel =" nofollow "> Desire HTC SIM Free Android smartphone Rating: My wife has had an Iphone and I had a BlackBerry Storm. I was of the non-iPhone & iTunes multitasking restriction Disapointed. Also, I loved my Blackberry, but it is the lack of good apps. So I bought the HTC wish.

Here are my view:

Pros:
-----
- Excellent OS - very fast and liquid
- Good video reader with even YouTube.
- Good integration of all applications together just like on the iphone
- surfing the Internet is excellent
- Multi-tasking allows I leave e-buddy running in the background.
- good choice of apps (many free). Already 50,000 and still growing number fast?
Can - Widgets multiple applications simultaneously control
- Google Maps has lost direction voice

Cons:
-----
- battery life (approximately the same as the iPhone). It can be killer with an increase task but this is still a little short. And it feels strange killing apps run all the time ...
- Push-mail is good, but still far from BlackBerry response.
- Keyboard is fine, but switching from French / English is not as fast as on Iphone or Blackberry.

In summary, this is probably the most impressive phone on the market. But PERSONNALY, even if there is a push-mail on the HTC wish somehow I miss the Messenger and the push-email from Blackberry. So if you want impresss to your friend, go for it. If you search for real productivity, keep your BlackBerry:)

Last Tip: It is important to choose a good provider with the HTC desire to be drop conection is fustrating. I chose Orange, O2 and Vodafone, but could be better.
Review by M. Spencer for the <a href = "http://www.amazon.co.uk/HTC-Desire-SIM-Free-Android-Smartphone/dp/B0035ER8OY%3FSubscriptionId%3D0EVWQMJNKGE21P68EJG2%26tag%3Dmobiphon-21%26linkCode%3Dxm2%26camp%3D2025%26creative%3D165953%26creativeASIN%3DB0035ER8OY"rel =" nofollow "> Desire HTC SIM Free Android smartphone Rating: I do not write often, but after he received one of the very lucky in my contract on Saturday Desire 27 March I wanted the world Amazon, how well this phone is to tell.

I have an iPod touch and my son has an iPhone 3G so we appreciate both how well Apple have developed the sense of touch. Let me tell you, HTC have done a fantastic job in the perfection of the touch screen on the request. Before I made my decision on the request, I had a play with a colleague HTC phone and liked the feeling of touch right away and was looking at T Mobile version of the HTC Hero. I wanted a touch screen with a decent size, operating system, Android, 5MP camera, but decided against the heroes, because they do not have a flash and it is also on the older operating system. The black at T-Mobile G2 could touch a bit ugly compared to the brown and white models. I had about both the desire and the legend is not coming out this year and had to make a kind of set with something like a jet on PAYG Samsung and see what came out later in the year. I could hardly believe my luck when on the website of T-Mobile last Monday that with the desire of £ 10.00 per month plus cost of the phone.

After a research stay at Jawal123. com than the hero, jet, legend, and of course the desire, I threw caution to the wind and bought a phone that I had not even attempted. How happy I was to make this decision. I was a little disappointed when I rang T-Mobile on Friday and they said there were some problems with the software of the phone (their software is not HTC) and they would not until 31 be delivered. Oh no. I was offered an alternative phone number, what I said, you have to joke, I'll wait. When I got home TMobile had emailed me to say the phone was on its way. Wow, they soon the problem sorted and was even confirmed on Twitter. Saturday morning came, 8.20, knocked on the door, it was the postman, YES, my wish was here.

I was very pleased with the box at first, not your cheap thin kind impressed receive with Nokia and Samsung, but very well made chunky box, very professional, like Apple. On the phone gently out of the box I like a big child at Christams time with my face was beaming. In real life, the phone did not seem as big as in all the pictures, of which I was happy. I was concerned that the 3.7-inch screen, it would be a bit bulky in my pocket, but it is just right, slightly larger than the iPhone, and a little narrow, very slim. The screen has a dark mirror coating with the back of the phone in what appears to be a non-slip plastic, a little soft. It has a dark bronze bezel around the front and it looks stunning. The photos do not just meet it. Seeing a quick read of the manual, like the back came off the battery and SIM card in and power up. now in heaven. The 4GB Micro SD comes preinstalled on the phone, but is interchangeable.

Went through the tutorial and was now ready to adapt and play with the phone. On the supplied SD card comes with HTC sync with the PC, but unfortunately not with Mac that reads a shame, but the Mac is the SD card if you are working in sync mount as a drive mode. This is really handy to transfer photos etc any music from your PC. It is also full Bluetooth for headsets and Bluetooth, not only managed to get it ok from my Mac and my old phone. It is very important if you are in the manual, which is loaded on the SD card and set up the phone with your personal settings, read first with little things set a tone for messages, such as blue tooth because when you order this phone a small icon is in the upper left corner, which is difficult to see, and you must accept the click and drag down. A larger box that will appear in the middle of the screen would have been better. It does just the same with news and and this is my only beef with the phone. No doubt I'll get in a position to an App to this improvement. Another thing that I do not like, although it can adjust 7 different screens you can not have a different wallpaper for each screen. You choose one, then it is on all seven screens that I had no objection to the woman complained that she did not want to see Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas all the time! Last whining little that I know that my messages used in the Inbox, Sent Items, etc. grouped together, but the phone her. This means practical, but because there are always a thread when you send messages back and forth to the same person, so I know will come to accept it. Basically the only two things I do not like. I always try and give honest opinions and if I thought this phone was rubbish I would tell you not to buy it.

For me, this phone is almost perfect. My son was very, very impressed compared with its 3G and said he would buy it if he could only download from Itunes directly, and it would adapt its docking station. Now it's not that so in the near future, if you already have an iPod dock for your music and then pass this phone is the best. Remember, if it has a massive storage capacity, as good as the Iphone to buy if you have a bigger map, and it has a 3.5mm jack, so you still can use it for music. Downloadable apps from Android, WiFi, widgets, 7 custom screens, 5MP camera and flash (something the iPhone does not have), 1 GHz processor, almost twice as large as the iPhone, optical scroll wheel, this is a fantastic phone. It is cheaper than the one Google Nexus, which carrys a very similar spec. I tried the camera in the house and I'm impressed. In daylight, it provides an excellent picture and even in low light conditions it is good. I played with the light sensor to improve the quality, and it performed ok flash.

I love this phone and am so glad that I did not HTC or Samsung Hero 2 weeks Jet Buy last weekend . I went out two weekends to buy a phone and am so glad I waited. I have played with this phone for the last two days trying out and have it set up perfectly for me. The WIFI is very fast and the Internet via 3G is also good to test it on a video Utube. to suffer Like all smartphones the battery life among all these skills is free and me until last night to play with him and it is now down to half full. Now I do not think this is like in normal use, that still take at least 3 days is bad. My son has on his iPhone to almost every day for free. On one of my home screen I have the icons for WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and Internet, all a lot of energy, so I can just turn it on when I need them. If you buy any smartphone, not about the battery life to be complaining. Maybe some better than others, but run with a lot more things, better image processors greater need somewhere to give something. All smart phones need more power.

Sum up, if you have this phone on your list, then sat at the top. It is a great phone and you will not be disappointed. Thanks to HTC for making a great phone, T-Mobile for their very friendly service and the Royal Mail for getting it to me so promptly.

Hey, I first review at Amazon for this phone WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

After a good bit of research and
with one hand on the game with the HTC in the store, I finally bit the bullet and went
Android road. I held off Android for a reading during the first Android-version
was a little buggy, so I wonder how Android 2.1, the HTC ships was on flight prices. Needless to say that I wasn't disspointed! As a long term (now ex-) iPhone User's Guide, I will not compare this phone with my iphone experience.

The HTC desire has its own user interface created above on Android 2.1, and to be honest
completely blows my first Gen iPhone running on firmware v3, out of the water (and I thought the iPhone was great!) HTC have really excelled themselves and will find yourself hard pressed to keep still any doubt, everyone will soon be copying them. This isn't a new concept, but the implementation is on a phone and as good as it has done is just so awesome.

There are seven screens that all widgets can be added. A widget is something like
widgets please visit Stardock for Win XP, or widgets in vista/windows7/most
Linux distributions. There, data or information without opening the message will
program usually used to get the info - like the display of items from the current calendar
etc. There are a large number of HTC / android widgets, and loads of free and paid
market.hat select those from the Android are particularly good, the
The Home Screen - why isn't all that stuff implemented this on the iPhone?

At the time of writing (April 2010) This phone is unlocked Avaialable (!), so if the
simfree version is cost too much buy the pay as you go or contract to version instead. I confirmed this at Carphone Warehouse, if I have the HTC have on orange contract and used this phone on both Orange and T-Mobile Sims. Spared the iPhone, I had to deal with each firmware upgrade - have to do firmware 1.x to 3.x all the way to jailbreak the iphone.

The HTC desire has a very similar size and the weight of my iPhone the first Generation, and the display
and touch-control is as good as any other. Accelorator is pretty much the same in both
devices. Speed as the HTC feels much faster and has a much longer screen. Space
wise, HTC wins hands down with the removable Micro SD card. You can upgrade the space /> <br for a fraction of the cost on the iphone - the iphone doesn't have upgradable memory itouch / sd card so if you want more space you buy for the next model up

like the iPhone apps on the HTC / Android is a smaller partition of the space is limited
for applications, but as with the iPhone you get a lot of applications and you will hardly
involved in this restriction. In the earlier version of iPhone firmware
I used to create symbolic links to move the applications to the media partition so
use more space, but in practice I found did not really need, to do so. Indeed
landed with screens and screens of Apps on the iPhone, thats even if i did not bother moving the
apps partition, bit of a mess with so many apps even with careful planning of each screen
. With the desire, I already have a large number of applications, but it is all well
encpasulated from under the very useful user interface HTC desire,
to me the most useful widgets and shortcuts in every home screen space allowed.

Moving between screens at home on the HTC wish is a dream, you can either left or right swipe
like the iPhone or once in a pinch, and select from the screen the screen will /> <br presented with thumbnails - so terrible to navigate quickly, you get so used to it,
it even within a short time. It even has a gesture for the screen lock (!) And works amazingly well - I thought I would try this option to turn it, but I like it so much I want to leave him.

The camera in my honest opinion is the only let down (!) in this wonderful phone.
However, it compares with the iPhone, the iPhone camera is, how shall I say crap
the best , I'm still doing well by you want on the iPhone on the HTC. The request
htc phone works pretty well with features such as recognizing faces (very fast), but for a
5MP camera, doing the same to compare MP camera in a Nokia or Sony.
Dont get me wrong, makes the HTC wish some very nice pictures and a lot of shooting to keep
poeple happy, but dont expect that it looks as good as Sony or Nokia 5MP camera.
Video is very good on the HTC, you can see where the additional processing power of the HTC is a wish
very useful. Overall, camera and video capabilities are much better than on my 1st Gen iPhone
, plus its already with the camera, so no additional purchase required bundled,
Unlike on my iPhone.

The battery life is about the same as the iPhone, which is remarkable, as I suspected, I wouldnt
use as well as I - even though common sense does not prevail - for example, if you dont Blue Tooth, WiFi, mobile internet, GPS all day long only turn them off when you actually use - battery life is being increase dramatically. The HTC already allow vessels of Widgets current One Touch switch on these options straight out of a home screen.

Surfing the Web seems much more easier, even though the controls are basically the same both
wish to iPhone and HTC. A nice feature is to enlarge on the HTC griping that fit
htc automatically sizes the text on the screen. I found i did not use actaually
the web a lot on the iPhone, but the widgets and other features on the HTC has already
me on wifi at both work and home, perhaps the extra screen and Housing, with the HTC wish
with a longer screen provides a link for me?

Android market is not nearly as extensive as in the Apple iTunes Store, but makes
already come a variety of applications avialable. Some of them are incredibly useful
- in less than 10 minutes on the market, I had a number of free apps, you can even search
me directly via wifi to my PC Windows shares within the htc mine.

first things on and off the HTC is hell of a lot easier than on the iPhone - will
ridculous with the introduction of tying the iPhone via iTunes, that one of the most important was my
anoyances with the iPhone. A lot of times to get a good
Apps you must use your iPhone jailbreak apples cencorship because of questions about the developer. But the
interface for Android Market is good to compare, especially when you think about the
iTunes program on your Mac / PC. For all its drawbacks can quite useful to iTunes.

with the HTC you like a USB stick can connect to a PC / Mac / linuc box and just drag and drop
media, as you want. I can see that this would be an advantage and a problem for other users
- if your used to buy (and want to carry on the purchase) from iTunes then a
problem. In his own way iTunes does it have space and its benefits.

One area that most phones you will find hard to beat the iPhone is the music. Iphone still
rock out to music and I think it will always be. I was without a headset HTC was tinny, but the tests with my Sony headphones I normally on the iPhone, I was reassured by some good music. So with a good headset HTC works well, however, was very angry at the HTC to find the 3.5 mm headphone jack is not quite flush actually present on the HTC - on the iPhone in its so reccessed headphones (the thin type as the Most good headphones) sits well with the iPhone, hold out on the HTC one tiny piece of the headphones, no matter how hard you push in your headphones - this does not detract from the game in any way, or even lose the headphones, only a tiny part forgot it in the design of the HTC. Fortunately, the HTC is similar to the iPhone in the works as soon as you take the headphones out, it will automatically stop the music player, useful on his return from a long walk / cycle - you just pull out the headphones to the player to . stop The music player app, although good at work does, wow you really like the iPhone app-player works. I guess its just a maatter of time before someone designs a better (or copies of an iPhone) and submit it adndroid on the market.

Another thing that has really impressed me with the HTC, the contacts - it can be a bit confusing at first
- I place the phone on and go in my contacts expected to
be empty - it had lots of entries! What the HTC does it take all of your sources for
contacts and bring them in one convenient place - it also provides the contacts and click
are proposals for a link. For example, if you have a separate phone contact, and had
facebook friend, please give it to the other in the automatic sugesstions window - you need to link water is the only
or separate them together. Once connected, you see only one item on the list and
analysis shows that all his people from all over the linked sources. You can even means
your own groups and use them later for the e-mail / SMS etc.

This flexibility, you have to spend some time linking your contacts, but it's worth been, and the HTC makes most of the hard work and auto strikes probably linked contacts - that is what the contacts on the iphone would be, it is only a dream to use on the HTC.

The search on the HTC is comparable to the newly added Spot Light feature on the iPhone
(firmware 3.x), imho it does looks a little better and faster on the HTC, plus it
it takes about all your contacts, whether in your contacts / email / facebook etc. You can even have some crazy
Google widgets, for example, I was with a Google widget game yesterday,
when you start drawing the letters and it starts to look for - so no need to use, even the
keyboard! Worked well Surpisingly

The larger processor on the HTC lust makes a big difference, and everything works extremely
wish smoothly on the HTC. IPhone also really multi-tasks (in contrast to the
), which run more than one thing at a time. I have the additional physical
buttons on the bottom of the phone and the excellent user interface, the navigation on the HTC is much more fun.

For more technical in / dev, I can see that the Android platform far more useful -
with the iPhone in your practice only to buy a new Mac Every time a new SDK
comes out (I have only my creaky old Mac-boxes on run Leopard, but requires the latest SDK
Intel-based Leopard to run - Grrr! you can unofficial black hat Windows
toolchains but setting this up is very complicated. Android on the other side was
to develop surprisingly simple - download the SDK, unpack, load an IDE such as Eclipse and
your good to go! (Of course you need to configure the path where the SDK is stored
etc, and everything is stored in Java / Javascript and XML files, but these
is soooo much easier than what Apple brings you through.

********** ******
Bottom line: Will let you down on the iTunes front, if your a serious iTunes user, so I do not see
, Android as the iPhone killer, but at the moment in time the letter of request
htc has a much better interface than the iPhone. I can quite easily see Apple
was busy taking notes and changes to 4.x, which will come out with firmware
IPAD, so its is possible to go both platforms loggerheads with each other for quite a while
.

Bang for Buck gives the HTC Desire you good value for money and an excellent user interface , imho (at the time of writing) is much better than the iPhone.

Review by Fraggle for <a href = "http://www.amazon.co.uk/HTC-Desire-SIM-Free-Android-Smartphone/dp/B0035ER8OY%3FSubscriptionId%3D0EVWQMJNKGE21P68EJG2%26tag%3Dmobiphon-21%26linkCode%3Dxm2%26camp%3D2025%26creative%3D165953%26creativeASIN%3DB0035ER8OY"rel =" nofollow "> Desire HTC SIM Free Android smartphone Rating: I had a HTC Hero (you know, the one that all of these best Gadget Awards won before) and the was good, but this phone is fantastic. 10 reasons to buy:

1 Large, bright screen with high resolution. Photos and text look good and really clear - what is good for viewing email attachments or Facebook photos.
2 It is thin and keep very pleasant. It actually feels less bulky than the i-Phone 3G My girlfriend in my opinion.
3 It is really quick - just click on something, and it appears. No delay. Multitasking, you seem to be able to throw almost everything around him.
4 The 5MP camera and flash are surprisingly good, and you can upload photos directly to Facebook. It is a step in the HTC Hero I had before.
5 Google Maps is better than ever on it, and you can instant directions.
6th MP3 player is really, really good - there seems to be much clearer than was my old HTC Hero, sounds and dynamic, with a lot of sound quality on a par with the iPhone. I have a really good app Amazon MP3 means you can download from Amazon massive amounts of DRM-free MP3s recorded at v high bit rates and upload them directly to your cell phone to buy.
7th Everything is super-intuitive - Really good e-mail, SMS and social networking integration. The keyboard is really good, and the way they have done word recognition - even if you have some wrong letter is typed - really impressive.
8 Really good, solid build quality feel. Nothing feels cheap and plasticy about how some old Nokia phones I had.
9 It is much cheaper than the i-phone and the new Sony Ericcson x10. I managed to get my T-Mobile (per month) 300 minutes, 300 texts, unlimited internet access, unlimited free calls from fixed-line phone for EUR 25/month as a new customer, absolutely cracking.
10 . Web Browsing Brill. Flash. Multi-touch/pinch zoom. Pinch to zoom. With Flash, Flash appears with 10.1 in the near future should better be better.

1 Large, bright screen with high resolution. Photos and text look good and really clear – what is good for viewing email attachments or Facebook photos.
2 It is thin and keep very pleasant. It actually feels less bulky than the i-Phone 3G My girlfriend in my opinion.
3 It is really quick – just click on something, and it appears. No delay. Multitasking, you seem to be able to throw almost everything around him.
4 The 5MP camera and flash are surprisingly good, and you can upload photos directly to Facebook.
